Zenith Black Beans

Zenith is an upright, full season cultivar with anthracnose resistance and excellent canning quality. Zenith combines very high yield potential with erect architecture with high pod placement and resistance to lodging. Zenith is suitable for direct harvesting under narrow row production systems. Lancer Perennial Pea

Lancer perennial pea has broadly winged stems and petioles, leathery and veiny leaves and stipules, and odorless, white to deep purple flowers. The pods are 6-9 cm long with smooth dorsal suture and the large seeds are tuberculate. Lancer has tendrils, can climb, is compatible with other legumes and fixes nitrogen, increasing ground cover density in erosion control plants.

This voluntary certification program is designed to assure that forage and mulch sold with proper certification identification meets minimum standards designed to limit the spread of noxious weeds. These certification standards comply with Regional Weed Free Forage Certification Standards developed by the Regional Weed Free Forage Committee of the North America Weed Management Association. Forage and mulch certified under the Michigan Crop Improvement Association’s certification program with proper certification markings attached will be eligible to be shipped into restricted areas in the United States and Canada.
