Chris is a Michigan State University Crop and Soil Science major. He began his career with Michigan Foundation Seed Association in 1985 performing seed processing. He transitioned to Michigan Crop Improvement in 1988 to work with seed inspection and seed testing. In 1992 he became a Registered Seed Technologist (RST). He has a great appreciation for agriculture, the food system, seed production, and the seed industry. He is married with two grown children. When he is not in the field, you may find him in a tree or at the wood pile.
