NEWDAK WHITE OATS

Newdak was developed at North Dakota State University and co-released by the North Dakota and Cornell Agricultural Experiment Station(s). The leaf margins and sheath are glabrous. The mature lemma and palea are white to an off-white color. Newdak is resistant to the prevalent races of stem and crown rust in North Dakota and has Barley Yellow Dwarf Virus tolerance.

OGLE YELLOW OATS
Ogle is a high yielding, widely adapted, early maturing oat with excellent resistance to lodging and Barley Yellow Dwarf Virus. Ogle matures in 111 days. Kernels of Ogle are yellow, slender and tapered at the tips - the primary kernel often has a prominent 1-3 cm. long awn, which separates from the kernel during threshing, but the point of attachment remains visible. Ogle is susceptible to rusts and loose smut.
